Gram Seva Trust is selected by the Government of Gujarat to implement the Village Development Projects.


District Level Monitoring of MNGO and SNGO projects of Government of Gujarat.



Mr. Dipesh Dane (state NGO coordinator), Dr.Sahay,CDHO and 100 Field workers participated.


  


Two Day Health check up of 127 students of the residential school in the village Unn was undertaken.


Two days of basic training course in health was administered for 18 new RCH workers.
                  
Sewing machines were distributed to 21 trainees, supported by Tribal Welfare Department.



Exposure visit by 12 field workers of ARCH, Dharampur.
               
Purpose of the visit was to introduce to the services offered towards the welfare of mothers and children in the community.


School Health Check up of the 8th Grade Students of 40 Schools has been started.  The goal is to care for all the 7200 students. This project is supported by Larson and Tobreau Charitable Trust, Mumbai.
The project is aimed at examination of the 8th standard students with basic health screening, blood test and management of their illnesses.
Health screening of students of 24 schools has been completed in the month of August.


Eye camps – two eye camps were arranged and 117 patients benefited. Thirty one of them were given prescription glasses and 30 had surgery for their cataracts.
