Three T. B. Diagnostic camps were conducted in the villages under the Government sponsored SNGO Project. A total of 66 patients were examined, investigated and followed up for the treatment.
 
Two eye camps were conducted at Gram Seva Trust Campus. Two hundred and forty four patients were examined during these camps. Prescribed glasses were fitted for 120 patients and 22 patients have undergone cataract surgery. Twenty patients are on the waiting list and will soon be taken care of.
 
Self Help Groups of rural women at Gram Seva Trust generate their income through various=2 0projects like sewing,  handicrafts and manufacture of shampoos, detergents etc. During the last two months these women earned Rs. 48,409.00.
 
Our “Bal Awas” (Children’s Home) children celebrated the entire Divali Vacation with great enthusiasm. Dr. Kantibhai Desai and Mrs. Rashmiben  Desai, dedicated volunteer children’s advocates spent the entire 10 days and nights at the Home with the children. The children enjoyed stories, creative arts, visit to the local post office & dairy, games, yoga and a very enjoyable trip to the Zoo.

Neonatologist Dr. Shashi Vani, conducted a Workshop for our CHWs (Community Health Workers) regarding care of the New Born.
 
An interactive 2 day session of several Gujarat State NGOs was held at the Campus. All the members of these organizations shared their experiences and received guidance from the senior members.
 
 Under the auspices of Inner Wheel Club, Billimora Rotary, a Gynecologic Camp was conducted for the women of the very remote Dang District. The response was overwhelming and we have realized the great need for the women in these remote areas. A total of 143 women were examined on that day. For detection of Cervical Cancer PAP smears were done as indicated and 11 women were admitted for Hysterectomy at no cost to them.
